Choose the coat and pin feel together
A suitable choice depends on the animal and the supplied brush:
- The coat is appropriate for a firm slicker; the brand’s US guidance describes curly, long or medium coats.
- The Large head can be controlled comfortably around the areas you need to brush.
- The coat is accessible, the skin can be checked, and the animal accepts gentle handling.
Resolve the import identity before buying
Keep these limits attached to this exact selection:
- ASIN B09JFXFDNX is the selected Germany-import offer. Identical US part numbering and warranty coverage remain unconfirmed.
- Dense mats, painful skin or hidden skin conditions need professional assessment before brushing.
- A flexible head does not make firm pins suitable for every coat. Stop for catching, redness or discomfort.
What matters in use
Pin-style slicker
This is a manual brush with pins for an appropriate coat. The FURminator name also appears on different grooming tools, so check the tool type as well as the brand.
Flexible split head
The selected product photograph shows a divided, flexible head. Head movement helps handling but does not establish scratch-free use or universal comfort.
An import-specific purchase

Care and setup
Inspect the pins and skin before each session, remove caught hair after use and store the head where the pins will not be crushed. Follow the directions supplied with the imported brush. Stop if light contact catches the coat or causes discomfort; pressure is not a remedy for a tight mat.
Common questions
Does Large describe a dog’s weight range?
No verified body-weight range has been established for this import. Assess the head size, coat and handling access rather than selecting from dog size alone.
Can the US product page confirm this import’s warranty?
It cannot establish that by itself. Confirm the delivered item and the seller’s applicable support; identical US retail-model and warranty coverage are unresolved.
Which number should I match on Amazon?
Use ASIN B09JFXFDNX for this selected offer, choose Large / L and check the recorded item-model number 4048422153184 against the supplied label.
